Some of our ideas have been realised in the ALAW and ALAW Bach, but not all were appropriate to a 17' wave carving thoroughbred. Sea kayaking is about getting somewhere, "It's not where you are, but how you get there". The MENAI 18 is a high carrying capacity and rugged sea kayak for extended expedition use by advanced paddlers.

· Polyester resin
· Chopped strand mat and Glass cloth

This is pretty much the sea kayak industry standard and is our lowest cost construction. This gives a robust and hard wearing kayak that is easy to repair if do you have an unfortunate mishap!
